a5c7b9f00b Four American soldiers who are in Iraq are sent on a mission to recover plates for printing 100 dollar bills that were used to print a billion dollars. After doing the job and returning to the base their commanding officer is killed in an explosion and the plates are stolen by another operative. They would be court martialed and sent to different prisons. 6 months later, the leader, Hannibal Smith is visited by a CIA spook who tells him he knows where the man who took the plates is and wants him and his men to recover it. So he helps him escape and he breaks out the others and they go after the plates. But after doing it, they discover that the spook might not be ok. And a military intelligence officer who was involved with one of them is pursuing them.
A group of Iraq War veterans look to clear their name with the U.S. Military, who suspect the four men of committing a crime for which they were framed.
This movie is totally ownage. The story itself ain't that hard, I mean for this kind of movie don't expect twist ends or some overweight emotional substance but only full-package action and some jokes here and there.<br/><br/>For those affiliated with the "A-Team" TV series they should know that the action described was hilarious and ridiculous and congratulations for this movie that they actually not ruined that aspect by making mistakes in execution. The minus that this movie hasfarthe action-scenes matter is the lack of suspense at times but overall it was well executed. Movie doesn't suffers from a slow or fast pacing way of develop the story which is good and keeps you interested till the end. The jokes were OK though, Sharlto Copley did a terrific job, Rampage Jackson handled good his piece of work though it ain't comparable to Mr. T's but still was good. The one who I expected I guess more was Bradley Cooper, other than that, Liam Neeson was so and so… I mean… I could see other actors pull a better performance. Biel looks hotalways and it was nice to see her in this movie. The development of the characters was handled well but I think the best worked with Copley's Murdock.<br/><br/>As farthe technical execution of this entertaining movie I have my pros and contras. The cinematography was a little bit shaky and it had some serious flaws at times, especially when "flying" was involved. The sound was good but the video editing suffered again by cutting and rushing up large and important scenes. The visual effects were kind of "MEH" when flying a helicopter or a plane was involved. The soundtrack was really on the same line with the movie and it helped creating an agitated and fun atmosphere even with the hiphop songs from the beginning.<br/><br/>Overall the movie is entertaining, funny at times and well paced. It's a great summer action movie and people should take itit is: an awesome "A-Team" movie. I'm not saying things couldn't have been done better but I'm not disappointed also so check this out.
My late husband adored the original series whilst I never really liked it (unexpectedit is a guy thing) However, last night I had nothing better to do and because I love both Liam Neeson and Bradley Cooper I decided to give it 10 minutes to see if I could get into it, and I did get into it. Too much fun! And while the guys in the audience had Jessica Biel (who was miscast) us girls were like a kid in a candy store. I was thrilled to see Gerald McRaney in itI think he is an underrated actorwelldiscovering just how good Sharlto Copley is, I've been planning to get around to seeing District 9, now it is a must see movie. It goes along at a frantic pace which works and also allows us no time to question the daftness of it all. It's got the right amount of humour and it was fun to watch, which is important to me. Hubby would have approved and I definitely do.
Until a leaden third act, it IS reasonably entertaining.
